This course continues the study of pharmacology principles for nursing practice. Based on the Client Needs Model, this course addresses the major drug classifications used to treat neurological, cardiovascular and endocrine disorders as well as chemotherapeutic agents and adjuvant medications for pain. The student will apply the Nursing Process to the study of medications and their effects on clients.
